軋機(jī)在軋制過程中由軋制力所引起的內(nèi)力沿機(jī)座各承載零件分布的應(yīng)力曲線，稱作應(yīng)力線。為了提高軋機(jī)剛度，減少機(jī)架及各承載零件的變形，采取各種技術(shù)措施后，將這種應(yīng)力線縮短了的軋機(jī)，稱為短應(yīng)力線軋機(jī)。它是高剛度軋機(jī)中的一種。

The stress curve of the rolling force, which is caused by the internal force of the rolling force, along the bearing parts of the frame, is called the stress line. In order to improve the rigidity of rolling mill and reduce the deformation of rack and bearing parts, after taking various technical measures, the mill which shortens the stress line is called short stress line mill. It is one of the high rigidity rolling mills.
