冷床是中小型棒材車間不可缺少的輔助設(shè)備之一。它的功能是將軋機軋制后經(jīng)飛剪剪切成倍尺長度的棒材, 輸送并卸到冷床齒條上冷卻, 使其溫度由900℃降至100 ～ 300℃。

針對角鋼試生產(chǎn)初期冷床下鋼發(fā)生傾翻的特點及原因，作業(yè)區(qū)技術(shù)人員指導(dǎo)崗位自己設(shè)計制作了防止角鋼傾翻裝置，通過冷床長度的測量及冷床裙板至冷床齒條距離，選定防止角鋼傾翻裝置的位置及長度，利用裝置自身重力，從而實現(xiàn)角鋼的穩(wěn)定下鋼，順利進(jìn)入冷床。

經(jīng)常檢查相應(yīng)輥面磨損情況，有積瘤的要及時清理；觀察進(jìn)鋼情況，保證入口導(dǎo)位位置正確；經(jīng)?？砍C直盤圓角與成品圓角；制定合理的矯直力，盡量避免回矯；合理控制冷卻過程；保證型鋼低于80℃進(jìn)入矯直機；注意觀察各輥軸向、垂直竄動量，做到及時應(yīng)對。
